Scribd is considered the largest social publishing website out there today. A fabulous site, Scribd also connects individuals, yet Scribd allows authors, (traditional or self) published or not, to upload original writings for review and comments by others.

Users can gain feedback on his or her writings. This site is capable of housing all types of documents, including word documents, PDF’s, excel files and powerpoints, as well as several others. This allows for the design of your document to be seen by others, not just the writings. These documents can then be read in iPaper, an intuitive and easy to use online reader. iPaper’s design is simple and the usability is graceful. Scribd is also open source. Traditionally published materials, as well as self-published materials can be uploaded. Scribd also has a wonderful community of users. This site, as well as iPaper are very well designed and easy to navigate though, and is recommended for users looking for a readership, allowing for excellent feedback.
