Filedby offers three different memberships levels for authors, while readers have access to all author pages. All levels include an author website, where writers are able to post writings and other personal information. The basic level is free to sign up for, and includes several useful features such as a biography and photograph, ability to link to online booksellers, as well as search engine optimization. The premium level costs $99 a year and includes additional features such as blogging tools, adding book descriptions, promoting upcoming titles, and the ability to upload your resume. The premium plus membership is $399 a year, and includes even more features such as customizable header graphics, the ability to add and edit endorsements and testimonials, electronic press kits, and the option to be featured on the Filedby homepage under the “featured authors” section. This community of authors and readers is a great marketing and promotional resource to spread the word on your original writings.
